John Hillerman won a Golden Globe and an Emmy award for his role as urbane Englishman Jonathan Higgins on the 1980s series Magnum, P.I. starring Tom Selleck in the title role. Born in Texas, he also died in Texas on Nov. 9, 2017 at the age of 84 of natural causes.
