Christopher Plummer

The Sound of Music recently celebrated its 50^th anniversary. The film is beloved by almost everyone who has seen it. The only person who seems to dislike it is one of the stars of the film, Christopher Plummer, who played Captain Von Trapp. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher explained why he didn’t like the film, stating, “Because it was so awful and sentimental and gooey. You had to work terribly hard to try and infuse some minuscule bit of humor into it.”
