Downton Abbey Front Doors

Each of the front doors feature a bone-eating wolf's head. Underneath are little winged iron dragons. Above the door and the windows on each side of the doors you'll see the Carnavon motto in old French lettering that reads "Ung je serviray" (Only one will I serve). Also above the door you'll see AD MDCCCXLII, which is the date that architect Sir Charles Barry completed his final designs to remodel the castle's exterior.
