Glenn Close – Hook (1991)

Steven Spielberg's five-time Academy Award-nominated Hook is a favorite for many reasons, one of them being Glenn Close's gender-bending cameo. The actress appears as Gutless, the bearded pirate whom Captain Hook punishes by locking in a wooden chest with a scorpion. She's wholly convincing as a man, as she is again several years later in Albert Nobbs (2011). Would someone mind telling us how she hasn't won an Oscar yet?
