The Blair Witch Project (1999)

Three film students vanish after visiting a forest in Maryland to film a documentary on the Blair Witch legend. This film, although it’s gotten a lot of criticism, is an iconic movie in the found footage film world. The Blair Witch Project is basically a student film that was popular for being outside the box. Before this film, found footage wasn’t mainstream yet, so it paved the way. It’s worth the watch because it has some good scenes and feels like an actual home movie, so hats off to the makers.
