Aspiring journalist Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) dreams of a career as a journalist after graduation but gets sidetracked when she’s hired as an assistant to the ruthless Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the editor in chief at Runway magazine. Andrea's fashion sense -- or lack thereof -- is obvious until art director Nigel (Stanley Tucci) takes her under his wing.
