Ronny Cox

One of Ronny Cox's earliest roles was playing the father of a large family on the wholesome TV series Apple’s Way. He went on to play Dr. John Gideon on the final season of St. Elsewhere, where he may have crossed paths with fellow character actor David Morse. Or maybe you recognize him from Deliverance, RoboCop, or Total Recall (the original). And who could forget his Lt. Andrew Bogomil in the Beverly Hills Cop series, first as an impediment, then ally to character Axel Foley? More recently, he guest starred on True Detective. Hey. That’s the second time David Morse and Ronny Cox have appeared on the same show.
