Casey Affleck's disdain for the meat industry is well documented, with the Ocean's Eleven actor once appearing in a banned PETA public service announcement (PSA) taking aim at the industry's abuse of animals. Television networks refused to air it until it was toned down. In the powerful ad, he reveals why he doesn't eat meat or any animal products: "Because they are unhealthy and they are the product of a violent and inhumane industry. Chickens, cows and pigs in factory farms spend their whole lives in filthy, cramped conditions, only to die a prolonged and painful death."
