Bride of Frankenstein

In the sequel Bride of Frankenstein (1935), Henry Frankenstein's mentor, Doctor Pretorius, proposes that he should create a mate for the Monster (Boris Karloff), with Henry creating the body, and Pretorius supplying the artificially-grown brain. When Henry initially balks, Pretorius threatens to expose him as the creator of the monster, and has Henry’s wife kidnapped. Once he is reassured of his wife’s safety, Henry completes the Bride’s body and final preparations are made to bring her to life. Lightning strikes a kite, sending electricity through the Bride (Elsa Lanchester), and they remove all of her bandages. Pretorius declares her the "Bride of Frankenstein."
