The Wolf Man

In The Wolf Man (1941), Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney) has returned home to see his father John. While visiting, he becomes attracted to a woman named Gwen who works at an antique store. In an effort to spark conversation, he buys a silver-headed antique walking stick decorated with a wolf. Gwen explains that it represents a werewolf. Later that night, Gwen’s friend Jenny is attacked by a wolf, but Larry saves her by killing the animal with his newly acquired walking stick. Unfortunately, he’s bitten during the attack and shortly afterwards, discovers it was a werewolf and he is slowly becoming one himself.
