Rushmore (1998)

Wes Anderson's Golden Globe-nominated Rushmore is a back to school story, but it can also be considered a tribute to autumn. The film stars Jason Schwartzman as an eccentric but heavily involved prep school student, and a deadpan Bill Murray as a disillusioned industrialist. The action unfolds during the autumn term, and title cards are used to mark the shift from September through October and November.
