The Wedding Singer (1998)

Sometimes dealing with heartbreak can make you act irrationally, even when you’re supposed to be on stage performing for an audience. In the movie The Wedding Singer (1998), Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler) ironically is left waiting at the altar on his wedding day. His fiancée sends him a note that she won’t be making it. In one scene afterwards, Robbie is performing at his next wedding understandably upset. When Robbie starts rambling on stage, a member from the audience tells him he’s being paid to sing, not give advice. Robbie snaps back, “I have a microphone and you don’t so you will listen to every damn word I have to say!”
