Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)

Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a film that speaks to everyone's high school experience in some way or another. Naive, 15-year-old virgin Stacy (Jennifer Jason Leigh) is worried she'll never find a guy, so she sleeps with the first man who pays any attention to her. Obviously she doesn't hear from him again. Downtrodden, she seeks help from her older friend Linda (Phoebe Cates) who gives her the worst advice in the history of talking. Stacy goes down a very misguided path that leads to her stuck between bad boy Mike (Robert Romanus) and better guy Mark (Brian Backer). Love triangles aside, we can't forget Stacy's brother Brad (Judge Reinhold) who really just wants to hold down a job. Remember that scene? You remember the scene. Ahh, memories. And then there's slacker surfer Spicoli, a character who has seemingly gone down in stoner history. Sean Penn will never live it down.
