Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

In Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005), we see the end of Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) and the beginnings of Darth Vader. Anakin is literally cut down in an epic battle on planet Mustafar with his once-friend and mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) when a lightsaber strike to the arms and legs renders Skywalker immobile. He tumbles down a hill to settle near a lava stream. Obi-Wan leaves him to die, but evil Darth Sidious (Ian McDiarmid) senses Skywalker is in danger and arrives on the planet to retrieve him. It is then that we see Anakin Skywalker transform into the menacing Darth Vader when he receives his black suit to help him function without arms, legs and with a damaged voice box.
