The Collector

The Collector (2009) features a maniacal murderer who enjoys catching and killing his victims in creative ways. Throughout the film the viewer roots for professional thief Arkin, who finds himself mixed up in the vicious games of the Collector. We breathe a sigh of relief when he escapes and is picked up by an ambulance. When the Collector's van smashes into the ambulance, our hopes are dashed.
