Meatballs (1979)

This classic comedy may be over 35 years old, but it remains one of Canada's most successful pictures, having hauled in over $43 million at the box office. Written by Canadian Len Blum and produced by the Canadian Film Development Corporation (CFDC), the hit film features Canadian actors Harvey Atkin, Kate Lynch, Matt Craven and Chris Makepeace. Meatballs was filmed at Camp White Pine and Camp Towhee, located in Haliburton, Ontario.
