The comedy Wayne's World starred Mike Myers as Wayne Campbell, a long-haired heavy metal fan and Dana Carvey as Garth Algar, a goofy-haired anxious kind of guy, but equally into heavy metal and most important, his best bud and sidekick. They host a public-access television cable TV show called Wayne's World. The movie was adapted from a recurring sketch of the same name from the long-running TV show Saturday Night Live. The movie was so popular that Wayne and Garth reunited for the sequel Wayne's World 2 just one year later.
