It may not be the first, but the DB5 is certainly the most recognizable James Bond car throughout the film franchise. We first see the DB5 in the movie Goldfinger, but it has also appeared in Bond films such as Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale and Skyfall. Famous for its various gadgets and features, the film’s original script only had the car armed with a smoke screen. However, when filming began, the number of gadgets increased as crew members began adding devices to put in the vehicle. An animated version of the DB5 appeared in Cars 2 as Finn McMissile. Also, late Bond star Roger Moore used the car while filming a parody of his James Bond character in a 1981 film called The Cannonball Run.
