Ghostbusters: Afterlife – November 11

Another of 2020's releases pushed into 2021, Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel will finally be unleashed on audiences. Looking to appeal to longtime fans more than Paul Feig's all-female 2016 reboot did, there are some sky-high expectations for this movie. With a likable cast featuring Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard and the ever-affable Paul Rudd, as well as returning actors Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, Ghostbusters: Afterlife appears to have all the makings of the best of both worlds: enough nostalgia and fan service honoring the original two films, and some fresh blood to bring new life to the franchise.
