Toni Collette's breakthrough Oscar-nominated role in The Sixth Sense was just that -- a breakthrough. This was just the first glimpse of a true great. The scene in the car with her dead-people-seeing son Cole (Haley Joel Osment) is just about the most moving thing you'll ever witness. A plethora of great roles were to follow, including the indie classic Little Miss Sunshine and the criminally underwatched The United States of Tara -- none of which have garnered her the level of attention (from audiences or movie execs) she so deserves.
