A Beautiful Mind (2001)

John Nash, a genius mathematician at Princeton University, must come to terms with his diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. His hallucinations begin to alter his reality, and jeopardize his academic career and family life. In A Beautiful Mind, Russell Crowe gives a powerful performance that highlights the complex and fragile state of the human psyche. The film moved audiences and critics alike, and won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and Best Supporting Actress (Jennifer Connelly).
