As Good as it Gets (1997)

They say you find love when you're not looking for it. That's the case for misanthropic, obsessive-compulsive writer Melvin (Jack Nicholson). He ends up falling for his favorite waitress Carol (Helen Hunt), who understands and is able to manage his very particular routines. Nicholson and Hunt have a natural chemistry on-screen, while the film delicately balances humor and a thoughtful depiction of life with a mental health issue.
