Who didn’t want to be Ferris Bueller when they were a kid? Skip school, joyride a Ferrari, eat at a fancy restaurant, go to a sports game and make it home without getting caught. Matthew Broderick and John Hughes talked about a sequel, but the overall premise would have been the same – guy skips a day of college or work and the same adventures ensue. Neither found it exciting and pointed out that the movie was about a singular moment in your life. And so, a sequel was never made.
