Munich (2005)

Steven Spielberg's five-time Oscar-nominated Munich is based on the aftermath of the notorious kidnap and killing of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Following the tragedy, Israeli officials sent agents to assassinate Palestinians believed to be responsible, but the effort was stalled when doubts emerged about how closely those targeted were to the Munich massacre. The film stars Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, Ciarán Hinds and Geoffrey Rush.
