Born Carlos Irwin Estevez, Golden Globe-winner Charlie Sheen is the son of fellow Golden Globe-winner Martin Sheen and Janet Sheen. He won his debut part in the acclaimed crime drama Badlands (1973), which starred Martin. The father-son team reunited many times over the years, in projects including the TV movie The Execution of Private Slovik (1974), the Oscar-winning war drama Apocalypse Now (1979), the TV movies Out of Darkness (1985) and The Fourth Wise Man (1985), the Oscar-winning movie Wall Street (1987), Cadence (1990, and also known as Stockade), Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993), No Code of Conduct (1998), Free Money (1998) and A Letter from Death Row (1998). As an additional note, Emilio Estevez and Ramon Estevez are brothers of Charlie and sons of Martin and both have also acted alongside Martin (and each other) onscreen.
