20. Green Book (2018)

The 2019 Oscar winner for Best Picture is arguably the weakest film to win the award so far this century. It's not that Peter Farrelly's dramedy is a bad film by any means, it's just that compared to the other 19 films to win a Best Picture Oscar, Green Book stands out as being the most bland picture of the bunch. Beyond the stellar performances by Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, the rest of the movie is pretty much a by-the-numbers biopic that came off as the safe choice for the Academy, in stark contrast to something like Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman.
