Born as Sandra May McIntyre, Paula Goodspeed changed her first name at the age of 16 to match her idol, Paula Abdul. In 2005, she met Paula while auditioning for American Idol but didn't let her rejection on the show quell her obsession with the judge. She eventually discovered Paula's address, parked her car in front of the singer's home and overdosed on prescription pills. Authorities found a photo of Paula in her car and her license plate read, "ABL LV."
