Spike Jonze's film Her presented an interesting role for Scarlett. As "Samantha," she had to act the part of an inhuman operating system through only her voice. The challenge was portraying enough emotion to have her human companion (Joaquin Phoenix) develop a romantic attachment to her. Quite the character!
