The Beach (2000)

A stunning beach cove tucked away from a populated island, glowing crystal blue waters and silky soft sand, this film is summer in a nutshell (rather, coconut shell). Leonardo DiCaprio takes on the role of a young man backpacking in Thailand who embarks on a journey to paradise after he finds a hidden map. What he uncovers is more than just an idyllic setting, but the shots in this film seduce without fail.

Fun fact: One of the locations used to shoot the film is now a famous tourist attraction called Maya Bay, off Thailand’s western coast.
