Inception

Christopher Nolan's first sole writing credit since his debut (The Following), Inception is one of those rare blockbusters that manage to succeed both critically and commercially. Though some say  the film has its flaws—criticizing its length or saying it’s a bit clunky on the exposition—the second half of the film is some of the most intricate, intelligent and exciting science-fiction in recent memory. Unparalleled in scope and jaw-dropping in its execution, Inception is an intensely cerebral action film that leaves just enough open to interpretation to have you debating it for weeks.
