It might have started off with good intentions—to become a small-time drug dealer in order to maintain her family’s comfortable lifestyle after her husband died—but it wasn’t long until Nancy’s drug dealing ways would become a liability and endanger her children. Nancy’s illegal livelihood prevented one of her children from going to college and got another one arrested—for being in a rival drug gang. Maybe she should have just moved after her husband’s death? Her kids would have been better off.
