Mirror Mirror vs Snow White & the Huntsman

Relativity Media and Universal would go head-to-head in 2012 with their own takes on Snow White. The former would go for the more stylish and comedic approach, tasking visionary director Tarsem Singh to helm Mirror Mirror, while the latter would counter with a more mature fantasy epic take, in the form of Snow White & the Huntsman. Both films were box office hits, though Snow White & the Huntsman is more notoriously remembered for the scandal involving director Rupert Sanders and star Kristen Stewart, with neither returning for the eventual sequel The Huntsman: Winter’s War.
