Batman in his Silver Age Batsuit

This suit is distinguished from the Golden Age Batsuit of the 1940s by the golden circle on Batman's chest. This design was introduced in the 1960s and carried on until the 1980s. In recent years, Batman has re-adopted his classic grey and black suit. Batman was born when young Bruce Wayne witnessed his parent's death at the hands of a mugger. Bruce took his lifelong fear of bats and his family's multi-billion dollar empire and used it to innovate Gotham's most feared vigilante.
