Joel (Timothy Olyphant) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore) are back as married realtors leading discontented lives in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Liv Hewson), until Sheila goes through a dramatic change that sends their lives down an entirely different path. Joel McHale and Maggie Lawson join the cast in Season 2 as rival married realtors.
