American Son – November 1

Based on the acclaimed Broadway play of the same name, this television event recounts the story of Kendra Ellis-Connor (Kerry Washington), whose teenage son, Jamal, a top student about to enter a prestigious college, doesn't return home one night. She goes to a South Florida police station and while waiting for her estranged husband Scott (Steven Pasquale), she's asked obviously racist questions by Officer Paul Larkin (Jeremy Jordan). When Scott, a white FBI agent arrives, Officer Larkin suddenly has more information on Jamal's whereabouts.
