Maniac (Sept. 21)

Annie (Emma Stone) and Owen (Jonah Hill) are two strangers taking part in a mysterious pharmaceutical trial in this limited series. Annie is disaffected and aimless, while Owen struggles with a disputed diagnosis of schizophrenia. Dr. James K. Mantleray (Justin Theroux) has invented a new, radical drug treatment that he claims can repair anything about the mind, even mental illness and heartbreak. His assertions draw them and 10 other strangers to Neberdine Pharmaceutical and Biotech for a three-day drug trial. They're promised that the drugs will solve all of their problems permanently, with no complications or side effects. But as they take the drugs, they find themselves on virtual trips with multiple realities, in which Annie and Owen constantly are drawn to each other.
