Although Shirley Temple was given an honorary Oscar at age six in 1935, Tatum O'Neal made history by being the youngest Oscar winner ever in 1974. The 10-year-old actress wore a black tuxedo to accept the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work as Depression-era con artist Addie Loggins in Paper Moon (1973), starring opposite her father, Ryan O'Neal.
