Pink responds to fat shamers

PinkPink put her foot down and addressed the fat shamers at the BMI Pop Awards held Tuesday night. She told Entertainment Tonight, “I don’t take well to bullying. I never have. I’m not a person that will be bullied. I’m not a person that will stand by watching other people bullied.”

She wants to be a good role model to her four-year-old daughter Willow and standing up to body shamers only seems appropriate. “I’m raising a girl. I am a girl. I have feelings. People think I take no s–t and I’m tough, tougher than nails, but I’m a human being.”

Last month, after attending a cancer benefit, she tweeted: “I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight.”

She continued: “So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about me. I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either…I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous, and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern.” This headline-making tweet against those who called her “fat” was well-received by her fans.

Good for Pink, people should worry about more important things, like what idiots they are, having a baby is hard work and gaining weight is part of that.

Bullying is just a Person that feels Inferior and wants to seem Superior !! Usually they have self image problems but instead of dealing with them they project it onto someone else.. PINK I think that you are Beautiful Slim or Curvy and the world has to get away from the Perfect Shape Syndrome… What is that ?? We have all these young girls making themselves sick to be acceptable to Society.. Celebrate who you are and what you look like, there will always be someone prettier or slimmer but in the end there is only ONE You so Celebrate it !!!

The same idiots probably would have tried to “fat shame” Sophia Loren and Marilyn Monroe! Why do you think anorexia and bulimia are off the charts amongst school age girls? Give’em hell Pink…
