Pirate chic is hot this Halloween, thanks to Johnny Depp and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. A survey commissioned by the National Retail Federation predicts that more than 1.7 million American adults will transform themselves into sea rogues this year. That surpasses zombies, cowboys, devils and French maids combined. However, among children, pirates rank only 5th with Hannah Montana taking the top spot with 1.5 million expected dressups.
