Pitbull thought Lindsay Lohan lawsuit against him was a joke

Rapper Pitbull is amazed that Lindsay Lohan is suing him for using her name in the song “Give Me Everything.” He raps in the song, “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’, I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” Lindsay believes the mention will cause “irreparable harm” to her reputation. Pitbull says in in a video on his website that when he heard about the lawsuit, he thought it was a joke. “When I mentioned Lindsay Lohan in the record, it was a really positive message. If you play at the park, if you’re from the neighborhood, if you got it locked up it means you run that area.” He continued: “We mention people’s names all the time. Rapping is always about double meanings and metaphors.” He explains that he thought the reference would be good for Lindsay, saying, “For me mentioning it on the number one record in the world, I thought it would be helping someone’s career and keeping them relevant.” Court papers describe Lindsay as “a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild.” However, the suit shouldn’t be too big a surprise to Pitbull – Lindsay made a chunk of money when she sued E*Trade, the company that called a baby named “Lindsay” in their ad a milkaholic. Pitbull says he will continue to perform the song as written, including at this Sunday’s VMAs. [poll id=”308″]

Some actors will sue over anything. This particular lyric rings truth anyways. How can you sue over the truth?? Lindsay made her OWN choices and has to deal with the repercussions. Hopefully one day she will learn by not making the same mistakes again.

Unfortunately, Lindsay’s career and life has been traveling through a downhill spiral since Mean Girls… Does that make me a Mean Guy to say that? 😀

Her rep. is long gone, this causes no damage at all. For those who understand Rap will know it’s not an insult to her but a complement. But I guess she is out of money, and has to make it some how. this is more idiodic than the whole kim vs. old navy law suit. Celeberties and their money making scams!

It’s the only way she can make any money these days. She’s probably hoping more people diss her publicly.

Oh please, Lohan destroyed her reputation all by herself. If anything, she should be happy if anybody mentions her in a song.

It is a joke, Pitbull. A very sad one. I hope they don’t settle out of court like Etrade did – she’s just looking for income since she ruined her career by being a spoiled brat. She hasn’t changed her ways. Get some class, Lindsay.

Isn’t that absoluely pathetic of her for doing this? I’d be absolutely Filthy rich if I could sue some people who joke about me and say untrue things about me, behind my back. I agree with this too. That she should be Honoured he used her name! He used it in the most honourable and Respectful way possible! You R the Man. Good for you!
