Miley Cyrus’ home was swarmed by LAPD officers and fire squads this week while helicopters circled the property in response to a kidnapping call. Sergeant Jim Parker told Good Morning America, “We responded to a call of a kidnapping in progress, one person shot. We checked the residence; there was nobody home.” The police say the incident may be part of a trend of prank calls known as “swatting,” which is surprisingly a common occurrence. In many cases, the prank calls are just made to get SWAT to bust down doors of innocent people. The police are currently carrying on an investigation at Cyrus’ home. Fortunately, the 19-year-old Hannah Montana star was in no danger and was not at home at the time. She was safe and sound with her fiancé Liam Hemsworth on the set of his new movie in Philadelphia. The police are currently tracking the caller. In regards to the prank call, one police officer explained, “It’s not just bad, it is a crime. And if we find out who it is, we will arrest them and prosecute them.” The caller, if found, could potentially face up to a year in jail. ~Isabelle Khoo

Boy, Liam is really trying to get her away at all costs! 😛
lol. I wish somebody would kidnap her.
Perhaps the kidnappers could stow her away in an outhouse and forget about her.
thats a rude thing to say. imagine your kid being kidnapped, how do you think her and her family would feel? just because we dont like someone, or find them annoying or whatnot, doesnt give us the right to wish them harm.
