Natalie Portman, who once said, “Young actors often don’t think of the consequences of doing nudity or sex scenes. They want the role so badly that they agree to be exploited, and then end up embarrassing family, friends, and even strangers,” has bared all in the new short film Hotel Chevalier. However, she regrets it so much that she says she’ll never do a nude scene again.
Natalie explains that she felt awkward about it, but went ahead with the scene anyway. “I’m really sorry I didn’t listen to my intuition,” she explains. “From now on, I’m going to trust my gut more. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is say no.”

well i think, in order to be successful in industry, you need to be willing to go at far distances as ever! take that dumb ass movie, but good “brokeback mountian”. or “trans-america”. that is what makes an actor a outstanding person, a person who can make believe thier acts, into reality… just my opinion.
Well she didn’t really bare all as she was tastefully covered. There was no doubt to the imagination that she was nude but certainly not something to be embarrassed about and certainly was not done for the sensationalism and not what I would consider to be an actual nude scene. On set, she was nude but not to anyone watching the movie. Ah well, one can still dream. LOL.
Check out IMDB about this. The magazine has issued an apology about getting the info wrong. Portman was referring to Goya’s Ghosts, not Hotel Chevalier.
There is nothing wrong with nudity or the human body. And if you don’t want to be nude say no. Natalie is young but she is an adult after all. The strongest lesson you can learn is listen to that inner voice it will always lead you in the right direction.
I could NEVER regret Portman’s nudity…
