Former Prison Break star Lane Garrison will plead guilty to vehicular manslaughter. He was driving a Land Rover on December 2 that jumped a curb and hit a tree. A 17-year-old male passenger was killed, while two 15-year-old female passengers were injured. Garrison’s blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit according to a police report.
His attorney, Harland Braun, says, “Lane is very sad about the accident.” Meanwhile, they’re waiting for experts to provide a report on the condition of the vehicle, which had been the subject of a recall for brake problems. Though Braun says, “We’re not trying to shift blame,” Garrison’s sentencing will be affected if it’s found his vehicle had faulty brakes.
