The 2008 Razzie nominations, given out annually to the worst in filmmaking, were announced yesterday. Not surprisingly, Paris Hilton earned two nods: Worst Supporting Actress for Repo: The Genetic Opera and Worst Actress for The Hottie and the Nottie, which coincidentally was nominated for Worst Movie, along with Disaster Movie, The Happening, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, The Love Guru and Meet the Spartans. Eddie Murphy (Meet Dave), Mike Myers (The Love Guru), Larry the Cable Guy (Witless Protection), Al Pacino (88 Minutes and Righteous Kill) and Mark Wahlberg (The Happening and Max Payne) are in competition for Worst Actor, while Jessica Alba (The Eye and The Love Guru), Kate Hudson (Fool’s Gold and My Best Friends’ Girl), Cameron Diaz (What Happens in Vegas), the cast of The Women (Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Debra Messing and Jada Pinkett-Smith challenge Paris for Worst Actress.
