Revolution, Canadian director Rob Stewart’s award-winning follow-up to his hit film Sharkwater, is a documentary that entertains as well as educates us on how we can make a change and save the world. While many documentaries struggle to connect with the audience, Revolution effortlessly bonds with viewers, both young and old, as Rob takes us on an adventure with him through 15 countries. The focus of the film conveys the message that it’s not just sharks that have to be saved, but humanity too. Using past revolutions, the film explains how we can solve current and future environmental problems. We’re taken on this ground-breaking mission by Rob, who with his down-to-earth demeanor and charming presence, inspires audiences. His mission is outlined with such cinematic excellence and stunning underwater shots that you just can’t resist wanting to be part of the movement.

Revolution premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has already gone on to win numerous awards, including Most Popular Environmental Film Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival, Audience Favourite Award at the Victoria Film Festival, Fund for Santa Barbara Social Justice Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Best Documentary at the Atlantic Film Festival. It was also a Best Documentary runner-up at the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as the highest-rated Canadian documentary.

Special extras included on the Blu-Ray and DVD are: Making of Revolution, How To Start a Revolution and Fight For Something. ~Marriska Fernandes
