Richards defends putting kids on TV

Denise RichardsDenise Richards says she can’t understand all the criticism about her allowing her two daughters, Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, to appear on her new reality show.  She was taken to court by ex-husband Charlie Sheen, who doesn’t want his daughters on television, but the judge ruled in Richards’ favor. The ex-Bond girl says, “I am a single mom and I am very hands-on with my kids so I can’t do a show without the kids at all. I asked them if they wanted to be on TV and Sam said, ‘Yes!’ My girls have been around it so much. They love the make-up. They love the hair. They love all of that. I understand why people are judgmental right away saying, ‘How could she have her kids on the show?’ But as long as they’re protected, I feel that they’ll be okay.”

No offense but i hardly watch Reality TV so i just don’t see this show going well for you. There are too many already, i hope you got something in store for your viewers because i don’t see anyone really being interested.

Charlie should lighten up, the show will be cancelled in no time.

charlie should have just kept his mouth shut and it would have disappeared after the first show. now that he has opened it the curious will watch it for interest sake, meaning it’ll run for two or three weeks.

What a F’n bey@tch! Using her kids so she can try and have a career. Guaranteed it won’t last long.

Who cares if the kids are on the show. It’s her right she is the mother and she has custody. Charlie Sheen is an idiot anyways. Reality shows need to end, the excitment has been sucked right out of them. Writer’s need to re-invent tv shows bring it back to the 80’s & 90’s when it was worth watching tv.

Family shows need to do a come back. Family virture shows are a must.
    Cosby Show
    Family Ties
    Different Strokes
    Growing Pains
What ever happened to shows like this.

The reason they have these reality shows is two-fold.
Don’t need writers with fresh ideas, secondly, it’s cheaper than having to pay a cast of a hit sitcom, like when all the friends cast got $1 mill each per episode.

Why would you say that Charlie Sheen is an “IDIOT”? And….if he does happen to be an idiot, what does that make Denise Richards for marrying him and having 2 kids with him?? Personally, I like alot of the reality shows and, I guess alot of other people do too or they would not have gotten so popular. ‘Family shows’ require children in them, and in case no one has noticed…..alot of these ‘child stars’ have become alcoholics and drug addicts.

Three’s Company was a great show, and rarely had any kids in it. It was a little risky for the day, but still, it wasn’t bad enough that kids couldn’t watch.

At least with reality shows, it is only the viewers who become the alkies and druggies!! LOL.

  15. Nancy • February 22, 2008 @ 12:04 AM

anyone who is not a celeb that used their kids the way some celebs do, would LOSE their kids! i for one am dreading the episode (and you know its going to happen) where she has a “friend” sleep over!
She is a horrible actress who i think has been injecting botox since birth because honestly, have you ever seen ANY emotions on her face besides that smile that reminds me of a shark?
if she is so hard up for money, why doesn’t she get a job like the rest of the working single mothers out there?

  17. Arnold • February 22, 2008 @ 8:51 AM

I’m dreading the episode when the “friend” sleeps over as well. He will probably forget his jammies and all the viewers will be traumitized!

    What you talkin bout Nancy?

  18. Poppa John • February 22, 2008 @ 7:50 PM

Yeah, she is definitely looking like she has stretched her mouth several times too many…..
