Rihanna cyberbullies teenage fan

Does Rihanna really love her fans like she says she does? A 16-year-old girl from Baltimore chose a Rihanna-inspired outfit for her Hollywood-themed prom night. Alexis Carter walked the prom’s red carpet in a homemade bat-winged pantsuit inspired by the suit Rihanna wore to the 2010 Echo Awards. The girl said everybody liked her outfit and that she had a fun night. Only later when photos of her bat-winged ensemble appeared on social media, Alexis discovered she was being mocked by Twitter users, including Rihanna herself. The singer started with posting side-by-side pictures of herself wearing the suit and Alexis wearing her homemade creation and adding a sad face to the post. Rihanna was apparently amused by somebody’s joke “Dark Thot Rises.” In another tweet, RiRi posted a picture of the teen alongside the logo of Wu-Tang Clan. Alexis said in an interview with Fox Baltimore: “I was very offended… Why throw shade on it when you had on the exact same thing.” ~Alexandra Sharova

The 60th annual Grammy Awards was packed with energetic performances, powerful speeches and political jabs. Bruno Mars swept the awards show as well as Kendrick Lamar.
