Rihanna pulls out of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Rihanna has reportedly cancelled her performance at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on December 8.
The singer – real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty – is believed to have pulled out of the lingerie company’s annual catwalk extravaganza to focus on completing her eighth studio album “Anti.”
According to PEOPLE, Rihanna will longer join the Angels on stage and instead Ellie Goulding has stepped in to fill her shoes.
The “On My Mind” hitmaker – who is dating McFly star Dougie Poynter – shouldn’t be fazed performing at the globally televised event as she has experience of playing intimidating gigs, and was even the wedding singer for Prince William and Duchess Catherine in April 2012. She sang a cover of Sir Elton John’s “Your Song” for the royals’ first dance.
Ellie joins Selena Gomez and The Weeknd at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
As for Rihanna’s delayed LP, her father Ronald Fenty recently revealed the star is ”worried” she hasn’t brought out an album for three years, since 2012’s “Unapologetic.”
Ronald previously said: ”Robyn is not happy with the new album. She’s not comfortable with it. When she went over the songs she found all these little things she wanted to change and was worried about it. It’s a long process and isn’t easy. It’s been three years now since her last album and she wants this to blow everything else away, no competition, because she’s calling it her ‘first album.’ ”

She CAN sing but Rihanna is an entertainer so her vocals don’t have to be like Whitney Houston in her prime or like Mariah Carey or like Adele or Celine Dion. She makes a fortune doing what she is doing because millions love it. A friend of mine from Australia says why the heck would they pay grown men even a cent to skate on this little ring of ice all padded up and then fight to put this ridiculous rubber disc into a much to small net guarded by a much to large and padded goalie? I looked at him incredulously while we were taking in a Habs game in Montreal! But he thinks Cricket is the ultimate sport of skill, concentration and finesse, and Aussie rules football is the real test of athletic and sporting ability. My point? To each there own. He would never be dragged to another hockey game if his life depended on it and I would rather poke my eyes out with an ice pick that watch cricket. However they are both sports loved and followed by millions (billions in the case of cricket). So same way I cant say a certain athlete cant is not an athlete because i dont like his sport you cant say Rihanna cant sing simply because some rather hear Adele sing than her or rather Mariah Carey sing Xmas songs more than anything Riri has to sing. Too many haters out there. I say unless you can personally do better then keep your peace.
