Rihanna’s rude retort to reporter

While attending a promotional event in London, England for her upcoming movie Battleship alongside co-stars Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker, music diva Rihanna was asked questions about the film and her acting debut. Some time into the press conference, a reporter asked about her private life — specifically, about her rumored romance with Ashton Kutcher. The reporter asked if she would be seeing Kutcher anytime soon and whether or not he would be making the trip to London. Unimpressed by the question, Rihanna responded, “Wow, how disappointing was that question?” Despite being asked if she wanted to move on from the question, Rihanna replied, “I’m happy and I’m single, if that’s what you’re really asking.” ~Kayla Thompson

Demi Moore’s memoir, Inside Out, released Tuesday. It offers revealing anecdotes about her life, including her alcohol relapse, blaming it on Ashton Kutcher.
I think she handled it really well actually
I agree that sounds like a fair response to nosey paparazzi.
Well what was she thinking people would say when she showed up to his house at midnight. She had to know that question was coming. Kudos to that reporter for being gutsy enough to bring up what I bet everyone was dying to ask.
I think it was rude of the reporter to ask the question; her reply doesn’t sound rude to me. She was there to talk about and promote her work, not to provide fodder for the gossip mill… They should have cleared such a question with her first, instead of blind-siding her…not everyone wants to share every detail of their personal life.
She’s a celebrity, so she will be asked questions like that. If she wants to give up her millions she is entitled to be offended by such questions. She needs to suck it up and just deal with it and she entitles her fans to honest answers by wanting to be famous.
If you were a famous person, who was famous because of a talent you had developed and that is what you wished to make your life’s work, do you think you would want to give up all your rights to privacy… They shouldn’t be public property just because they are famous – everyone is entitled to privacy, if they wish. I really admire Nicole Kidman when she was being divorced from Tom Cruise, she refused to give up their private affairs for public consumption, no matter how much pressure was put on her… It was her right to hold her privacy close and protect herself and her family, from the vicious backlash… the hunger for dirt soon died and she came out of it looking like the lovely gracious lady she has always been.
Soon to be an irrelevant has been and not soon enough.
If you saw the video RiRi was a complete bitch! The girl has no class, she totally could have handled it better with some manners she is lacking in.
Seems pretty rude to me. She could politely refuse to answer, she doesn’t have to humiliate the reporter.
How do celebs with this much money to hire personal stylist manage to somehow end up looking like a transvestite? Not that there’s anything wrong with that… but c’mon.
