Ringo Starr gives fans a serious warning

Ex-Beatle Ringo Starr has posted a video rant on his website www.ringostarr.com, to tell everyone not to send him fan mail anymore. “This is a serious message to everyone watching my update right now. Peace and love, peace and love. I want to tell you please, after the 20th of October, do not send fan mail to any address that you have. Nothing will be signed after the 10th of October. If that’s a date on the envelope, it’s going to be tossed. I’m warning you, peace and love, I have too much to do. So no more fan mail. Thank you, thank you. And no more objects to be signed. Nothing. Uh, anyway, peace and love, peace and love.”

it makes sense. the guy’s probably been signing his name fifty million times a year since he started out in his late teens or early 20s or whatever. he is obviously sick of it and wants to spend his late years doing something else other than signing his name.
Thank God I was able to hold back on stamping my huge stack of Ringo Fan Mail before the 20th….
